The two main charities we are supporting in 2008 are the Monroe County Humane Association, and Backstreet Missions Women’s and Men’s Shelters. You too can support these wonderful organizations, and WIN at the same time!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monroe County Humane Association

The Monroe County Humane Association’s is the longest standing non-profit animal welfare organization in Monroe County with a mission to responsibly and compassionately lead, advocate and educate for animal welfare. The MCHA provides a host of services, programs and outreach to protect and improve the lives of all animals. Food and supplies are always needed for the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter and the over 5200 animals that come through its doors annually.

      The following supplies are needed:  

         Unscented clay cat litter (non-clumping only, please!) and Purina or
         better - dry puppy/kitten/adult dog/adult cat food
         (No open bags or food with dyes please!)

Backstreet Missions Women’s and Men’s Shelters

Backstreet Missions operates Bloomington Men's and Women's shelters. They not only take people in and give them shelter, food and a warm bed, but they also rehabilitate and help people back on their feet and teach them to be self sufficient. How you can help and win at the same time!

 

There will be 2 prize pack drawings. Each pack of goodies includes AUTOGRAPHED CD’s or Items from most of the performing artists. These items were generously signed and donated by the artists in order to support these charities.

 

When you donate to either charity, you will receive an entry into a drawing for a prize pack. Representatives from both organizations will draw the lucky winners from stage at approx 6pm. Make sure you are there to win!!!

Monroe County Humane Association are in need of Dog and Cat food, as well as non clumping Cat litter. For every cash donation you will receive an entry into the drawing for a prize pack. You will also receive an entry for every bag of unopened dog or cat food, or non clumping cat litter that you donate.  Please bring the bag to the event, and it must be unopened!

Backstreet Missions just opened a new Women's and Children's shelter and it filled to capacity in the 1st week! They are in need of money to keep the facility running and stocked with food and supplies. They also run a food pantry, and a Men's shelter. For every cash donation to them, you will receive an entry into the drawing for a great prize pack.
